Wow Adam, that wedding incident must have caused some minor panic until your wife came to the rescue!
Our front garden is at its best this time of year - Spring is really in its stride here in SE Australia. Icelandic poppies sown from seed are multiplying annually. They look great while in bloom but are easy to mistake as unruly weeds at other times.
These two are both with Hasselblad C (CF?) lenses I bought, the Makro-Planar 120 locally and the 80f2.8 as an 'Ugly' from KEH. Like all of my KEH purchases I have been pleased at the better-than-described condition.
lenticular11 - Yep, a shock when I first realised. Then after that, my can-do attitude kicked in. And like any self-respecting man.. I called the wife.
Nice shots BTW.. I like the quality from both those lenses!
Michiel - no I don't sorry although I believe the P645 120 Macro is also very highly regarded. My purchase of the 'blad 120 was heavily influenced by Ming Thein's comments on Hasselblad lenses, and by the stellar reputation of the Contax Makro-Planar 35mm lenses; both lenses being Zeiss of course.
I like your A35 image; how do you like the lens yourself?

beautiful Michael! That seems to be a very popular location. Is this lake located close to where you live?
Gary, thanks! It is actually pretty far away. It took about 5 hour drive and 6.5 hour with traffic around mountain to get there. It was not a planned spot until I did some research about area. I was there for June lake and Mono lake. A location have been on my list for a while. and I always want see some REAL color with family during fall. I went Mono lake about a few years ago at the time I am not into photography.
We drive there Friday night and come back Sunday. This is the only morning I get up for photo. I was worried about location to shoot in the dark but It is not hard to find the spot as I went there 30 mins before Sunrise, a lot of photographers already line up. I barely can load my tripod at side view. The situation is very similar to Zion Watchman or Yosemite tunnel view My wife laugh at me at time I was standing around. I do feel awkward with tight space around, Haha, photographers.... I must admit I myself much more enjoy shooting without falling into popular spot like these.
Sunday, the time we spend at Mono lake is much more enjoy experience than this. I truly feel the freedom in composition even I wasn't during golden hour. The opportunity is infinity compare to convict lake. Picture to follow
Too pity I don't have wide angle than 28mm equivalent on S. My widest lens for the time being is 20mm G, haven't go through the images yet.
Here are another with 35mm Summarit stitched. I think this give about 20~22mm angle of view. 60M file.
Michiel, I have admired your quintessential French provincial/architectural/shopfront images for a few years now.
Michael - your photographic ability depresses me, for someone who only has been doing it for a few years - I feel unworthy! Those fall images from Convict Lake are stunning.
Here are two ho-hum shots I took last Saturday, on the P645D. The first one is with the P67 200 f4 and the other with the FA 45-85. I've been a glider (sailplane) pilot from some 40 years...I still love it.

Those look like Stemme gliders. My old boss had two of the original S10 models. First one caught fire in flight over the airport (fuel line came uncinched), and he barely got the rig back on the ground before it burned to cinders. Second one suffered a bird strike that broke the propeller, and he had to crash in a Michigan forest. That landing broke his neck, but he lived. Scary shit.
Nothing as expensive as a Stemme in that line-up. I did once score a flight on one, both engine on and off and really enjoyed the experience. Your accounts are indeed hair-raising!
That line-up covers: Rolladen-Schneider LS1f, Glasflügel Libelle, Alexander Schleicher ASW-20 (twice!), SZD Puchacz trainer. All require a method of launching, in this case aerotow.
