That Actus is working well in your hands Brad!
A simple test shot from me, since my 2nd hand P645D body arrived this morning.
Thank you, sir. Congrats on the 645D. I'm betting you're going to enjoy it. If you ever decide to pick up a portrait lens, check out the Hasselblad F Sonnar 150/2.8. It doesn't have a shutter, so it's light and relatively compact, and on that sensor, you get nothing but sweet spot from the lens.
Here's a test shot from my latest arrival, a Caltar II-N 65/4.5 (Rode Grandagon rebadge). It looks pretty good close up, so I'm excited to see what it can do on the town this weekend.
Thanks Brad re the P645D. Thanks too for the Hasselblad lens recommendation.
Indeed, I think I'm going to enjoy the 645D a lot. Still wrestling with a photobook deadline (strictly amateur, not a business thing), so very limited time to go out and shoot, moreover I keep leaving my tripod in my wife's car .
That shot above of yours shows great detail
Here's a quick one yesterday of old Xiao Fu ('little lion') in his 15th year. His brother died back in January so he's a sad old boy. (P645 150/3.5 manual lens, ISO800).
Fantastic work here and on your stream Ryan. I've spent the last 20 minutes truly smiling and laughing at your kids photos on flickr. Definitely a happy household. And, it brings back awesome memories of my kids. Thanks for the inspiration!

How good/bad is the user support for the 645Z?
I sent emails twice with questions to the Canada distributor. The response - total silence.
I also heard that repairs require sending the cameras to the manufacturer. This may be a rumor. How prone is the camera sensor to dust and how difficult is to clean the sensor so deep in the body? Will appreciate user’s views.
Before the Hoya take over, support was great. I have no personal experience since, but reports are terrible. On the other hand I've had a 645D for 4.5 years and haven't needed support. The dust removal system in the 645D/Z is very effective; I have used a rocket blower on rare occasions- that's all.
Just spent the last hour going back through this thread from the beginning. I do this as I wait patiently for my recently sold 1Dx funds to arrive this week. The new 645z should arrive later next week. I already have a couple of new lenses on the way from fellow FM'er Joe Colson who posted some beautiful photos above. Thanks Joe!
Alright, keep posting those awesome photographs so I have some inspiration while I wait.
