Popped up to the lake this evening to grab a shot or two at a spot I've come back to several times before. It was so windy that I had a hell of a time keeping the tripod steady, and most of the frames were not salvageable. I was also really cursing the lack of focus joystick on the X2D - my hand was nearly frozen into a claw by the time I packed it in.
If they were I sure wouldn't park them overnight on the street.
It was a surprise when I stumbled upon them. As I took a couple of shots, I kept thinking any moment I would get a tap on the shoulder telling me to amscray.

Surely being seen is part of the appeal to having cars like those! As for me, I've spent all my disposables on... medium format digital cameras, so no Bentleys for me either, I'm afraid.
...and some black and white, for something different. I used to make diptychs a lot, once upon a time, but this is the first one in a very long while. I guess I was inspired by the continuity of the trail from one frame to the next, with blazes marking the way in each.
Went out street shooting with my daughter this afternoon. It's not always easy to connect with your teenage children, but this has been a great bonding activity for the two of us these past couple months. She's a pretty great photographer, too!
