I felt the full flash was too harsh so I lit this just with the modelling light in a 3' softbox. Toned the shadows lightly to match her dress.

I like your oft touch on this Ian! I would like to see a little more definition on her left cheek though.

Lovely Ian.
I'm liking the use of just the modeling lamp and have used it in a couple of shoots recently.
Typically I use it at the start of a shoot to get the model relaxed/

Thank you. Yes, this was right at the start of the shoot too, before we did the outside shots with the car etc.

Yep, I like the first one. Really nice! Maybe something with the cheek but very very little. Could be the hair distracting from the eye? Does not really matter as the photo flatters her.
