p.1 #1 · Fish Hawk

Fall has arrived in SoCal as evidenced by the return of Harriers, Peregrines, and this beautiful Osprey, or Fish Hawk.

I love this time of year.

Thanks for having a look.

It appears you know what you are doing Kirk. I don't typically think of an osprey as a hawk and in fact I'm not sure how it's classified. But your shots are awesome!

Awesome set, Kirk. I love them all. #3 is very special. It seems like the osprey spreading out the wings to describe to you how big is this fish. :-)

Can't fool me, Kruk has no idea, it's all just dumb luck

It looks like a lot of us are going to love this time of year Kirk if you keep putting up wonderful raptors like this set. Well the fish is kind of ugly but I won't count that against you

Very nice work Kirk, as usual the techs are spot on making these a joy to look at. The last one super, love the pano comp you used to accentuate the wide elements. Great work my friend!

Very nice shots, Kirk.
Hmm, you get Hawks/Ospreys and we get fungus at this time of the year.

This is a really beautiful series. The final shot w the panorama crop is stunning. The mix of symmetry and drama make it particularly intriguing.

well done.

Lovely set Kirk. Those birds sure have muscular looking feet, don't they. All needed for catching and lugging fish that size.
