The weather still not cooperating for getting out and about. Past couple of days rain. So with a mild drizzle , the hummers and I had a wonderful time.

#1 First the Hummer is astounding! It's the leading edge of florals you suppressed that looks odd and a little distracting to me. You could maybe come in with a 20-40% clone blend to ease the edge of the green leaf maybe to soften it? BG on this shot is showing lots of compression or gradient rings. Did you add contrast to BG or alter color of greens?

It seems I too have problems trying to shoot hummers in good light so I feel your pain Birdie. One thing subdued light does do for you is that it allows for so much more detail and these shots sure do demonstrate that. Excellent job on these Birdie. I really like the comp of the last one, maybe do a little work in RAW with a brush to lighting the face up some Oh and kill the white spot!

I wasn't quick enough ! He post twice just to be sure I got the message I removed it and by the way it was a rain drop falling. Not sure why only one showed up .
Reworked the edges of the flower in the first shot. Not sure what was going on in the background. I did darken the background and blur it a bit. Worked on it again, a bit better but not where I want it. How do you avoid the compression or gradient rings. It is not as noticeable on my computer, only when I uploaded it.
I will have to jump over to the landscape forum to see what you have been up to.
