Your first heron shot is one of the nicest GBH pics I think I've ever seen. Everything from the light, water, plumage and composition is simply amazing!

Did you have a good time with Jay- even if some of us DON'T remember him?
With several of these shots, I feel like a voyeur- seeing parts of the upper thigh that I'm not supposed to see.
Or else your GBH was doing the can-can dance .
BSing aside, these are terrific images.

looks like it was a relaxing afternoon! its nice when they'll come to you. i gotta say i really like that first shot with him all fluffed up - its nice to see so much texture in the feathers.
Killer set of one of my favorite birds... great poses, love the soft light and pastel colored BG's.
1 and 4 are my favorites buddy... glad you and Jay had a great couple of days shooting.
