The date code on the lens is UU06 which indicates that it was manufactured in June, 2006.
The lens is in excellent condition and the only marks are some slight wear on the base of the tripod mount.

I'm selling a Canon EF 300mm f/4L IS USM lens I bought new about 18 months ago. I am selling it in order to upgrade my EF 70-200 f/2.8L non IS to an IS II version.
The date code on the lens is UZ02 which indicates that it was manufactured in February, 2011.
The lens has seen only occasional use and is spotless. Included is everything that came with the lens, as shown in the photo. I never used the case or strap.
