I’m selling a Leica Vario-Elmar-R f/4 35-70mm zoom. I was going to adapt this lens for my Nikon, but had the good fortune to find one already done by the Leitax shop and am using that instead. Serial number is 3832197.
This lens has seen little use. As you’d expect, the lens build quality is wonderful with very smooth focusing and zoom. Cosmetically the lens is better than excellent with only two very small paint chips off the edge of the metal near the focus ring (see photos). The diaphragm operates precisely and the blades are clean front and back. I see no marks, scratches, fungus, or any other problem with the glass. There probably is a little dust inside as always, but I don’t see it.
