This is a lens that I purchased on May 28th, about 3 weeks ago from amazon.com. I've used it once around the yard with my boys and honestly macro is just not my thing. I could return it to amazon, but, my conscience won't let me do that. If I have to keep it, I'll incorporate it in to my lineup as another portrait lens.
The only way to tell this lens is not brand spanking new is to look at the two scuff marks on the hood. There are no marks on the lens body or the glass. I would like to go long, so, if anyone is interested in a trade, I'd like to trade for a 100-400 or 400 f/5.6 or 300 f/4. It doesn't have to be brand new, it just has to be SHARP. :-) I'll add cash as needed.
I'm not in a hurry to sell or trade, so low-ball offers will be ignored. Of course, I will roll my eyes if you send me a ridiculous offer but that is as far as I'll entertain it.
