Steve, this is a great set of images my favorite is #1 and then #3. Great to see the Appalachians getting some respect I live up in the north east and spend most of my time shooting in the tail end of these hills, no crazy 14,000 ft peaks but amazing subtle beauty and you really showed that here. Regards,
Dean
The Lindy Point image is very nice! I am not a fan of all the super saturation that seems to be in the vogue now, but the image is nicely composed.
Thnks for sharing!

@Dave - Yup, we usually get along pretty well - she works with me in our business all day too!
@Stan Parker - - yeah, no risk of life and limb is a nice change for once! I didn't even get cut up (first trip in a LONG time where the Smokies didn't extract some payment blood for messing with slippery rocks and creek beds)
@dgdg - Oops I forgot - The Lindy Point DOES have a bit of focus blending going on to keep the foreground sharp. Shot pretty close to 14mm though, so that helps.

Steve these make me realize just how much beauty there is in any given scene when done properly or with an enhancing artistic eye
I'm kinda stuck imagining being there in #1, that is gorgeous both in view and presentation, wow!
#2 I immediately noticed the nice warm glow from within the cabin, it looks and feels right in this image
#3 really nice good look in the darker areas and a nice balance for me
