The second and last are my favorites Roberta. Considering the low light, high iso and a very unforgiving D800 the first is not too shabby...I would have probably made that one of my artsy shots as the background is sooo dreamy!

This is a lovely set, Birdie, and, eye-opening for me, as I am usually so challenged with warm-blooded creatures that I don't think about plants and insects. (Plus, I thought I didn't have a macro lens; after looking at your set, I realize I do!)
I think the composition in all of them is terrific, but my favorite (because it's so sharp and because it's not my usual fare) is #2.
I always look forward to your hummer shots and you came through again. As for this wonderful set of images, Roberta, I must say that #2 is truly outstanding.

All are very nice Birdie, but the b'fly stands out ~ Ron
Much appreciated Ron, thank you.

Thank you Eric. I will try and play around with a artsy version , thanks for the suggestion
These are great Birdie, but there's something about #2 that really stands out for me as a winner
2 blew me away Birdie, are there anymore besides 2 Wow that is a beauty of a shot, stupendous job!!! Really nice high ISO work and the bugs are your normal high quality macro work. You sure are firing on all cylinders with this set
