Whether through Matt's kind offer or in other ways, anyone who is under this kind of stress needs to ask for help. About seven years ago I was in similar circumstances and the internet community was a big help regaining perspective. Life now isn't what I'd call rosy but it's at least manageable thanks to many and one of my goals now is to pay my friends forward.

First I was shocked, then felt sad, but I don't want to remember him with sadness. I'm happy that I knew Yakim a little bit through this forum and just want to send him vibrations of love to wherever he is. Life is precious, so we should celebrate the time that we shared more than mourn over its loss, which is inevitable anyway. I wish Yakim's family strength.
