Hey Will, I'm digging the action shots -- you do have a knack for horses. The last 2 are my favorites. Just FYI at the end of April I'll be at a slightly different flavor event but a lot of fun: another visit to the Rolex Kentucky 3-Day Event. Different from barrel racing but great horses, great people and great action there too. I'm looking forward to it and hope to bring back a few things to show here.

Enjoyed the set Monkey Great timing in #2, In your face action in #4 But going with #5 because who doesn't like photos of kids I'm thinking her daddy just might buy that shot.

Sweet! Thanks, Mark. That's a cross country competition, no?! KY is SO freakin' green Have a blast!
Tm,
Great to hear that you are also getting the D7100.
I must admit I was having second thoughts (D7100 or D800).
I would love to see some of your sooc D7100 BIF or other action shots.
I have the 300 f4 and the 70-300 vr.
Hopefully they both autofocus better on the d7100 than my d7000.
Look forward to seeing your wonderful photos.

I'll be sure to start a thread on the 'monkeys take. Played with one Fri., AF is insane...no worries.
As much as I loved shootin' the D7K I wasn't thrilled with it when using TC's. Pretty sure that's all about
to change. Boatload of features to try out, it's gonna be a great week dialin' it in. Stay tuned.
All great shots Will, but I must say that the last with the girl riding a horse with zebra camo foot/hoof covers is a hoot. Hopefully, there are no lions hiding out.

Right on that Tom. Hanging on with her legs instead of them flapping all over the place.
Will, Sure didnt lose your touch following all those BIF
Still a little cold down there?? See the horses still got their winter coats.
You lot get any good moisture or are you heading into another tough season?
