As last year my GF and I visited tenerife for two weeks and i would like to share some pictures form the trip.
My kit: Nex-6, V15, G28, G45, Minolta MD 135/2.8
for the first three nights we stayed in the Albergue Montes de Anaga on top of the Anaga mountain range.
Day 1: arriving and a short trip
We arrived at about 3pm at our hostel and my GF was a bit ill so i made a short walk in the forest alone. It was foggy and the light a bit flat.
a short gab i the clouds lets me see the northcoast
how the forest looked like:
my favorite picture of the day:

Day 2: from Taganana to Casa Forestal
view towards san andres, taken on our hostels terrace
the weather that day was quite nice and we decided to do a walk on the north coast which started in Taganana
looking towards Roque de las Bordegas
most of the old fields in Tenerife are not longer used, but these ones were:
Captured them really well. Lovely tones and textures. We go to Tenerife most years for a holiday. Your photos have made me want to go back and do some trekking!

I like it. A bit too many random touristy shots, but I really like the first one,
I hope you don't mind I tried to make it a bit more dramatic...
i like your version better than mine :-)
you are right, i decided to to not to be too selective and show more pictures to tell a better story. if this was only about showing my best pictures from the trip i wouldn't have shown half of these pictures.
@plasticmotif last minute i decided to leave the MD 100/2.5 at home and take the 135 instead and i really like the results. Funny how a 50€ lens gave me at least as good results as my three other 300€ lenses.

Ordinary tourists don't take photos like these. Tourists takes photos of famous architecture using the built in flash from 500m away, or they give the camera to someone to take a snap of themselves in front of any random statue. That or whatever cute cats or donkeys they come across. Oh wait...
Random touristy shots? What medication are you on? Having been to Tenerife each year for many years I can tell you that these aren't tourist shots. These are great shots nicely sought out!

Love your Tenerife images - nothing "touristy" about them, they provide a wonderful feel for the place.
thanks :-)
we tried hard to stay away from were the masses of tourists are, which worked quite well.
