Outstanding!
Behavior like this needs to be punished to the fullest extent possible to keep the integrity of the Board.

From what I could gather from this thread and the PM received from Dennis, the lens was terribly misrepresented.
The main issue here was that this transaction happened in a "trade" thread started by Dennis and therefore the seller didn't answer the questions on the lens condition as required when starting a new buy and sell thread.
Regardless, the images speak for themselves.
His account was locked until the issue is resolved and I hear back from both parties.

He might shipped the wrong copy to you...., it's sad to see this kind of thing happens here..
Somebody shipped me a book instead of a 24mmtse mkII! And mislabelled it so it would get lost 'by accident'. Also waited for ages to post it at all. Nothing to do with time limits on paypal etc. nope not at all.

Good luck that everything ends good for you, Dennis.

I am the original owner of the lens I sold him, and that def. is not the lens I sold him!!!

Sorry to see this happening to you Dennis
If you need information, PM me
Phil
Pics of the lens I sold him.....
Phil: do we know if the serial numbers match?
I also notice that the lens you sold him (in great condition) had a replacement RRS foot which can be seen in the 1 set of pics posted by the OP . But the 2nd set of the actual lens received by the OP has the standard foot.
Did you send the standard foot along with the RRS one ? But even then assuming the standard foot you had was in as good a condition as the rest of the lens (let's face it it would have been as it wasn't being used ) then when you look at the foot on the beaten up Lens you have to ask how it got in that state . And the images posted (of the mint lens) by the OP would indicate the seller (also known as SCUMBAG ) used the RRS foot for a while .
Just rambling but my gut says that's not the same lens .

Phil : When was this ? Did you sold the lens to the Gregory Rogalsky recently ?
I am lead to believe that he had an old beaten copy, either bought it and regretted it or he is just been fooled himself, and then bought your copy...and sold the old one with the photos of your copy.
