Beautifully done, Marj, and thank you for the link to the old ad. The original price makes me feel much better about what I spent on my first computer - and later on my first digital camera.
BTW, I think that you are ready to write the manual for Canon's latest replacement for the G3!
Programming with only one line of text visible in HPL using the powerfully clumsy “goto” and “jump” commands is gladly forgotten – until now that is. Wow, this is nice. Well seen and nicely conveyed.
I'm glad you all like this! So scary - that fine line between "workhorse" and "junk"!! We tend to really use things up here - but this did manage to make it to the junk category. Just hope I am able to talk someone into carrying that 26 pound package BACK to the junk room!!
--James, some of us do not think 1976 was THAT long ago!! But have to admit the dust made it for me!! That was fun to capture!
--Jess, you know - every once in a while I start thinking I know something and am ready to take the "with instruction manual" out of my signature line - and then I find out that it REALLY needs to still be there!
Thank you all for the kind words! One more fun and adventurous assignment!
Marj - This is truly a great picture. You have really grown in your images. I think the lighting and texture really convey the subject to the bull´s eye. Well done!
Marj - I've been so busy lately that I haven't had much time here, but when I ran across this image and saw it was yours - well, just had to stop by and comment - What an absolutely fantastic entry!
Thank you all! Can not believe I have finally made the finals! A first for me. I think it was the muckity muck and that really thick layer of dust that got me turned on!! Had something else picked out but then saw this stuck back on top of a cabinet. Every once in a while it comes together!!
