the breakout monopod gets old rather quickly and is present in other makes. possibly they are the same one under another branding give or take a color are a bit added to make it look a little different.
A tripod that doubles as a monopod isn't that great an idea. I'm only familiar with the Benro line and their current models are their second go at it. They gave these models the horrible adjective "transformational".
The first design gave you just a leg that you take off and put a head on. They were too short as I'm sure you can imagine. So they improved the height problem by allowing you to also remove the center column and screw it into the top of the removed leg. But how stable is a gizmo like that going to be?
If you want a monopod, buy a monopod. They're comparatively inexpensive relative to tripods.
