Astronomers have calculated there are 17 billion earth sized planets in our Milky Way alone.
“The Cosmos extends, for all practical purposes, forever. After a brief and sedentary hiatus we are resuming our ancient nomadic way of life. Our remote descendants, safely arrayed on many worlds though through the Solar System and beyond, will be unified by their common heritage, by their regard for their home planet, and by knowledge that, whatever other life may be, the only humans in all the Universe come from Earth.”
― Carl Sagan
Here's one from yesterday...engagement session, really fun couple. Apologies for the watermark as I had to pull this from their gallery. The main workstation is running a backup with a couple hours left to go!
Made on December 18 a few days after getting my 6D. A view of the Somass River as it meanders through the TSAHAHEH Reserve on Vancouver Island, BC., near the "Orange Bridge" and the band office of the Tseshaht First Nation.
Only just got the camera 2 days ago. Here's one of Melbourne's iconic buildings using the 17 TSE. BTW I really love the size of the 6D body and the snappy focus. I think the 1Ds3 may become the back-up
