Hi all,
A couple from a recent vacation to Mexico - we found ourselves awake at 5:30am most mornings with jet lag, with sunrise being around 6am, we took the opportunity for a morning stroll....
Just a few BIF images from a couple days ago. The 6D did an awesome job on these and I was really impressed with it. I will reach for it over my 7D much more often for BIF shots. The only thing I will miss is the FPS.

after seeing the pics that mike bons took with his 400 5.6, i took mine out to shoot some myself. all at 1600 iso centerpoit focus.
must say that the servo needs a bit of time to lock on sometimes.
Looks good ekoe!! I would usually use the center point as well, however because the ducks were landing 10-20m away from me, and they were mainly crossing from left to right on me, I used had all points activated for AF.
The Blue Angels are back for 2014 after the US Navy
cancelled their 2013 performances.
I went to the LA County Air Show at WJ Fox Airfield in Lancaster, Ca last weekend to check them out.
Here are some shots taken with my 6D and 70-200mm lens. I wish I had a faster body (FPS) and longer reach…well, just have to make do with what you have.
