Must be my eyesight, but I don't see any colored lights on the tree. Colored ornaments, yes.
Twas not seeing multi-colored lights either; all seem white/clear, just was stating the tree colors had a nice glow 'from the lights' which I should have included, forgot we're not mind readers...your eyesight is fine IM, it's my writing style or lack there of

^^ Nice work Steve ^^
Looks like the outer points are working for you.
Thanks, I use center point focus 99.9% of the time. I don't think it outer points werer used in any of these shots posted here but I did try them out and they seemed to do just fine on the few images I tried them out....in daylight that is.

Nice set.....How much sharpening was applied in post?
I had sharpened these for Facebook...knowing it was going to degrade them. Unsharp mask at 500% @ .2 pix radius. It does the trick for Facebook land for holding quality a little.
'Correct' sharpness for web should really tell you next to nothing about if the image is really sharp or not. 'Sharpening' is a skill as of in itself...
Lovely image and the lens is doing its work again. Pop!
A question; do you use a normal adapter or is it Leitaxed? If so; are there no mirror problems?
And any more experience with C/Y lenses what will work with regular adapters?
Excuse me for so many questions but I am dubbing over this camera to use my C/Y lenses on.
Never had a Canon before. And manual focussing with this camera?
