Yes! Shots like these reaffirm my "5D on steroids" assessment of this great camera, great shot!

Thanks! I am still playing around trying to find my optimum settings, but I think I may just go with my tried and true methods. Center point AF, Aperture priority mode with Auto iso...still assessing the highlight priority and the auto lighting optimizer settings. Overall though, I love being able to produce shots like this with literally no editing other than the b/w conversion.

I took this photo last night, you can see mount Baker reflected in the calm ocean water of Boundary Bay B.C at sunset with the near full moon rising.

and here is a short time-lapse shot with 6D of Earth Hour 2013.
I took photos from 6:30pm until 10:00 pm. 8 second interval.
you can see the light of B.C stadium and other buildings in Vancouver going out at 8:30pm to 9:30 pm. Best viewed full screen in 1080p

Great time lap clip.
What did you use to make that video?

Here's a few, more challenging shots. Still really liking this camera. The DsMkIII is getting lonely in the case.

That's it I am buying one I just sold my 5dmk2 on ebay. This is a perfect second camera to go with my 5dmk3.... Thanks

A lot of posterization in your pictures.

Thank you!, i used the Canon 6D with 70-200mm f4 is.
i started at 8 sec intervals on AV mode but as it got darker the intervals got longer.20-25 seconds. edited with lightroom 4 and exported at 24 frames /sec.

Some nice shots. I was at a hockey game yesterday and my wifes sister was there as well across the arena. I knew the section so I took a shot of the section to try and find her. I am pretty amazed at the resolving power of the 6d and 24-70 f4L.

Shot at 70 mm and resized to 640

100% crop that that allowed me to find her :)

One of the reasons for having a Canon 6D in addition to my other systems is to use Canon's tilt-shift lenses. For me, these manual focus lenses require a manual focus optimized viewfinder screen which rules out many other FF DSLRs like the Nikon 800 or 600, or the Canon 5DIII.

Two recent images with the 6D and the TS-E 90mm f2.8.

What screen would you recommend for assisting manual focus on the 6D?

Some more shots from me. I'm travelling in Japan, during cherry blossom season. I haven't had any time to process many shots, but here are few actions shots taken of sumo matches that we caught in Osaka.

Thanks. I used my 135L mostly. It's still one of my favourite lenses.
