ISO 1600....(I know that is nothing for a dSLR these days, but ISO 1600 is like ISO 200 on my first dSLR!! - still amazes me).....both shots with the Sigma 50mm macro....
There wasn't any sea... it was low tide. This was taken at 17:30 and high tide wasn't for another 6 hours, what you're seeing is a reflection off of the wet sand

I'm not used with low (or any kind of) tides.
