After a wet morning the skies finally cleared and I got my first good look at the bells. Took my breath away.

One of my favorites from this year...and I don't want colwell to sleep easy either.

Shot with 7D + 100-400L @400mm, f/7.1 ISO 320 because that is what happened to be in my hand at the time.

Sneakyracer, I really like that shot. 40mm pancake is surely one of the lens with a great cost/performance.

Hard to pick one, but I really like this one.

That's just my second post out there, so Hi everyone o/

One of the best I took this year:
http://maximetrepreau.zenfolio.com/img/s4/v68/p1157085994-6.jpg

Canon 7D and 40 STM (heavy processing)

I think this one is the best. Even if it's not technicaly very good. It's hard to get. The bears are wild, I'm alone with them.

Nice shots, Maxime. BTW, do you know how to tell the difference between black bear poop and grizzly bear poop? The grizzly bear poop smells like pepper and has small bells in it...

I have a hard time getting WB right on this one. Looks like grass is not very good quality in the raw file.
I ll try once again.

Stan, we've been so fortunate to see many of your photographs of the shuttle program. What's next, NASA-wise, I mean?

Canon Rumors, beautiful photos. Do you use an incident light meter for these conditions?

I just spot meter off my hand and put it in manual. That usually works give or take 1/3 of a stop.

Thanks
