Yep, you pretty much guessed it, I used a 3 stop ND. Ive been experimenting with it lately, it can produce some lovely results shooting wide open with flash.
It has worked well, with the 58 and 85 1.4.
When I realised that I could screw an ND filter into the F2 (thanks to Trenchmonkey) I had to give it it go.
The slow shutter speed is the outcome of the ND filter. Without it the shutter speed was 640th?
Which unless you have a HSS function might be well past the sync speed of the system.
And I just like the look it creates 😊

Here i can't see why the to be in need of a ND filter at this "slow" shutter speed.
