I would love to be shooting with the chub, but I am currently on the road for a couple more weeks and she is locked up at home. I am going through a bit of separation anxiety.
Before I left I also threw together a cheap lens cap. Very cheap but effective. Please forgive the cell photo and I am still not 100% sure how to post photos, but I will keep trying. (Computer is not my first language)
Alright it worked! So it's a cover for a stack of CDs. I poked the hole in the middle to ease the air pressure and now I have no worries packing it around in the bag.

This week I bought a second hand 200mm VR. Couldn't be happier.
Some of your beautiful pictures helped me decide.
Here's one picture of my first shoot. (F4) It was raining outside, so we had to shoot indoors.
I cannot wait to use it outdoors, so the 200mm magic sauce will be visible. (I hope)
