rodizzle33, I really like the 5th one!! I also won chubby but I am always impressed ot the creamy dripping tasty bokeh it produces!!
4mpx, I have to say I am a little jealous of your combo!! D4S-200 F2, talk about the low light monster sports ultimate set-up! I don't shoot enought sports, that is why I only have the D800e which I love for the insane amount of details I get and excellent DR at iso 100

Once again this thread is making me tempted to trade my 300/2.8 for a chub...
Ya, me too. Except the 300mm f2.8 is more versatile long telephoto with the 2x and the fact that the 300mm f2.8 can also be used for portraits and get some really stunning shots albeit at a further distance.

Is that our sales pitch to get guys to trade with us?

No, that is just me fighting in my head. Left side of the brain wants the 200mm, right side wants to keep the 300mm. If only the lottery would cooperate!

Yep, this combo is an ultimate gear for chasing wildlife in a dark rainforest :
Nice shot of the Bear! This thread finally got to me and I'm happy to say I just bought a used 200/f2 here. I'll take a 500mm for the bear shot please!

Any word yet as to what's wrong? Hope you have it back in time.
The beast is back! Nikon says it replaced the Silent Wave Motor and checked focus, mount, VR, communication, image test, and autofocus; and gave it a "General Check & Clean." For the techies out there, Nikon wrote it up as a B2 Service Repair Rank. Today's game is rained out, so I won't get a chance to field test it.
