The 200/2 loves stacked converters as well :

D7000, 200/2 VRII + TC-20EIII + Kenko 2x, @1/160". 1200mm equiv. FOV !!!

Found this thread a few weeks ago after buying on Ebay an old AIS 200 F2.0 Manual Focus. It arrived Wednesday night and on Thanksgiving day was able to get first pictures with it.

Really outstanding pictures on this thread.

The Pigeon man is with a old 201 teleconverter, hummingbird is without.
