I've been mulling selling mine too, given how infrequently I use it, but I'm having trouble making the commitment to list it!!

Shooting it at the parade a few weeks ago made me firm up (mentally) the min price I would accept.
I don't use it often, but I am always impressed when I do.
I was actively looking for events to go out and shoot when the coronavirus shut everything down.
I think I can live with having world class glass at 200mm, 105mm, and 50 (once I pull the trigger on a 50 1.8S).
The temptation to sell was increased at the thought of using the funds to purchase a 24-70 2.8S.
With distinctly mixed feelings, I decided to sell my Fat-man (latest VRII model) that I bought reconditioned. Not only was it not getting sufficient use but I need the funds for a 500 PF. Two stores did not want to pay outright, and refused a trade in. So then it was to try and sell it on commision. There was no shortage of interested punters but no one bit. This was first in Cape Town then finally in London. It sat for months....
Finally, a shop bought the lens at close to my asking price, having rated it as EXC. Relief! The delay came as a surprise as this legendary lens costs a packet new, and it is typically special order. It's rare on reputable Used sites (I've kept an eye on these ever since it took me months to find mine back in 2016/17)
