If I were you, I'd seriously consider getting the D5 as it seems as though it is a body that you are aspiring for. If you don't, I think that ultimately you will regret not getting it.
Yes, the D5 is more expensive but the initial cost only hurts once. Settling for 2nd best, will hurt every time you pick up the 850 as you will still be longing for the D5.

We spent few days in one of beautiful resort in Nha Trang beach city this summer. I found it was very difficult to capture her in cheerfull activity at long distance of 200mm focal length. But I did it to show you here.

I had a chubby-then 3 herniated discs, a severely broken and crippled left wrist, and cancer made me abandon it.
The 3 prior mentioned problems also prevent me from re-buying it!
