The work that you have been sharing of both your wife and daughter has truly been excellent! I love your daughter's beautiful and expressive eyes! You've done well at capturing the love they both have, their expressiveness. Great focussing, processing... everything spot on. Inspirational!
When using your 200, is it mostly handheld or are you using a tripod/monopod?
Thank you for the kind words! These are all shot handheld...just joined the gym again as a result 😂.

Quick follow up... for random portraits shots (like those shown here) I shoot it handheld, while I do use my tripod when shooting a more formal shot or anything landscape.

Not forced at all- she always looks like that 😂. On a more serious note, that was part of a sequence and that was the most genuine expression out them all... in the first she was doing a forced smile until she got a bear hug from her little girl lol (hence her expression in this shot). Thanks for the kind words! droaingsong wrote:
The second picture looks a bit forced emotions for the mom but the 1st one is my favorites.
Its amazing how well this lens works with all the converters. As crazy as it sounds I have actually wrestled with the Chubby plus 2x converter versus the 300PF with 1.4x decision when packing my camera bag. Of course the PF fits in your pocket but the Chubby is just that magical that sometimes lugging the cumbersome rig around just makes you feel better about yourself somehow.
