Fan Man.
In a country where life without electricity would be almost unbearable, the electric fan is essential. A local fan repairman stops by to revive the dead.

Animals in many places take on human characteristics. They often walk many kms with you, and snuggle up readily. These super strong goats have a full winter's coat, which in Tibet at 4900m means 'ready for anything'. I envy the left-most guy's insulated leather coat, very cool!.

found another one of the 'human' goats, this one literally strolled up and kissed me on the cheek reaching from its higher rock platform, they greet everybody; it is widely believed that dogs are failed monks from a former life, so the monks are usually very kind to them and other animals. Visitors throw grain so it's a year round ecosystem for all concerned.

I think the images from the RX1RII are worthy of comparison with medium format film, if not digital. These latest images you have posted, Joe, are illustrative of that quality - relaxed detail across the frame.

I can't argue with your opinion Carlitos. I often shot with an H4d-40 and used it on several trips. However, I find the Sony Rx1rII extremely versatile and nimble with outstanding IQ. For example, the cow and the bamboo stalks are at iso 6400. The trees with lots of exposed branches at f2 out the window of a car in the rain. The waterfall is a quick grab from a bridge rail in the rain at f22 to give me a half second exposure. The mountainside of the bamboo forest is from a stitched hand held panorama. Could be the best camera I've ever owned.

Joe,
I find my images from RX1 are excellent. Your RXRII pop right off my screen. They are so vibrant and beautiful. I won't be upgrading soon, but..........

Great shots, everyone. I went out for a bike ride this afternoon and stopped to capture some of the blooming flowers. These were tiny, less than an inch.
On a side note, I love the packability of this camera. It will transform the way I travel by bike and motorcycle.
