I was taking a walk in a neighborhood trail and took my A7RII and R1XR II for some comparisons shots. I saw this hawk in the tree and decided to see what i could get with the R1XR II. The first image is the full frame and resized and the second is a 100% crop of the hawk. Shot at f5.6. I used Capture 1 --- which I am not that familiar with (I guess no beta CS6 RAW conversion yet) and conversion to TIFF. I did selective sharpening of the hawk in PS. Amazing how sharp that little lens is.
I am also impressed with macro and bokeh in some other shots I was playing around with.

Great work as always Joe....

Its kind of unfair really as you make anything you pick up sing. Nikon V1, Ricoh GR, RX1 etc....

I could probably dig out some old 2002 era 3 meg P&S camera from my junk drawer and you'd produce some shots that would blow us away
