Ronny: I used the RX1 with the Sigma AML-2 close up lens and think it works quite good.
I hope i don't feel to alone here when you are gone to Iceland...

Thanks David I like it
I am generally satisfied .. and Sonnar 35 is really good
there are certain things that could have been better .. but which camera is perfect?
trying to learn to use it right .. so I hope it will be a little better later
The size and weight is great !

First, thanks for the likes (and to Ronnie for the comment) on the bridge shot. Much appreciated!
Sometimes I just have tell my left brain to sit down and stop yapping about lines, form, positive & negative space, narrative, ad nauseum… and just let my right brain revel in the color and texture of things suggested and felt rather than consciously defined.
Let’s call it, um, a botanical abstract. This is the underside of a Skunk Cabbage leaf with light transmitted through it rather than reflected off it. The debris on the upper surface was left in place to provide random points of focus to keep the eye moving (without the brain resolving anything). Suggestion...feeling.
