Just had a bit of an epiphany……
Going through images worthy of putting up here I was struck by a great truth - the vast majority of my favorite images over the last two years have been taken with the RX1.
Even on those occasions when it has been popped into the bag as a second camera it has often helped me bring home the best shots of the day.
It is often said that it is the photographer, not the gear, but having a lens/sensor combo like the RX1's really helps.

not everything is beautiful, but this one got my attention for the design features and sheer pragmatism. Especially the rope to haul back up with, but also the generous lengthwise dimensions, the choice of operational posture, the platform side is also very useful. you can imagine reading a spread newspaper. Some customers inevitably missed. But the rope feature I have never seen before - nice. The RX1 was not quite wide enough, sorry to miss more. ;-)
