helimat, Nice color but Why sell it?
A combination of taking two months off this winter, plus putting myself on an expensive course is why. I like the camera quite a bit, but it is an expensive toy that isn't really necessary at this bit I suppose. I am going to narrow it down to my Ricoh GR, and Canon 6D & 5D3. (Sacrilege, I know!! ) I will get one again, or it's successor down the road though.

Helimat, Interesting wavy distortion across the top of the first shot and bottom part too. Sorry to hear you are selling your copy.
Thanks. I am not sure where the distortion came from, partly the cam, and partly the angle maybe? Not sure.

Perfect understand about 6D/5DIII part
Distortion is the Achilles' heel of RX1, though I feel it can be easily corrected in LR.

Trying the bells 'n whistles of the new toy. Macro mode is very usable - this is auto focused through a Canon 250D close-up lens. Cropped to 4080x2720 before downsizing for web.

Two more Suzhou, China
I see this little cat on the location above. he was trying to follow us, I didn't expect such impact on me from his eyes: horror, desperate, scare, begging in such a cold raining day.

Good to see that you got a replacement. Is this one OK?
When it arrived and I turned it on the lens juddered and I got an error 61:00 code flashing on the screen. at that point I emailed for a refund but then after googling the code heard many people got the camera working just by tapping the camera (or dropping it in some cases) I tapped it firmly with my wrist on the base and it seems absolutely fine now. Had 3 days perfect running with it and the images are evenly sharp wide open so think it's a keeper. I'm blown away by the images, saturation needs pulling back almost as soon as you add a tone curve in LR. I feel like selling the 5D2 any second

R Young, u r correct about the fix for the 61:00 error, it has happened to me 3 times in the last year and I have honestly dropped the camera on its bottom end from about 5 inches, giving it a hefty bang on the bottom of the camera with the "heel" of my hand does not work for me ?? very bizarre! joanlvh
