p.1 #1 · What would you like to see in the Fuji X101?
This is probably Fuji's most successful camera ever.
What would you like to see in an X101?
Here's what I'd like to see:
1. F1.8 lens and make it free of QC issues that plagued the X100 with bubbles and dust.
2. Make it weather sealed.
3. Shrink it just a tad bit more but not much more
4. Make the EC dial a general purpose dial
5. high res touch tilt screen
6. Improve AF performance even more with Sony's new on sensor PD assist
7. Finally, 16mpx without AA or with a super weak AA filter
p.1 #2 · What would you like to see in the Fuji X101?
1. EVF comparable to NEX-7, with high magnification optics, no optical finder
2. 16MP conventional Bayer sensor
3. Tilt screen, no touch feature.
4. Focus Peaking

U mean a NEX 6 but with a fixed lens?
that sounds nice.
i really like the fuji lens but want better manual focus too (as far as i know they only fixed mf in firmware for the x-mount cameras) and less flare issues.

Order of importance:
1. Resolution: At least 16, no more than 24mpx with current tech.
2. AF Speed: I don't want a miracle, just incrementally faster than the original.
3. MF: Peaking please.
4. Either same size sensor w/ incrementally smaller body, or FF sensor with incrementally larger lens.
I'd then consider selling the XE-1I have on order, and pick up the new X200 or whatever it is called.

I wouldn't want it to lose its most distinguished feature.
1. reduce the flare in the lens.
2. improve auto-focusing.
3. Raise the MP count to 16 - 24.
4. Add weather sealing.
5. Improve the EVF to a much better level than in the NEX 7.
6. introduce half or even third stops on the aperture ring.
7. improve the feel and speed of manual focus.
8. Speed up all processing.
9. Slightly increase the size of the buttons on the back, adding a more positive feel.
10. Make sure playback image can be user customised as to location and content.
11. Reduce the MP size of the Raw files.
12. Introduce a quick menu like on the XE-1.
13. Include a cleverer, more effective hood, with a cap that fits (like the CV 40/2)
14. improve battery life.
15. put auto ISO on the same direct control as the ISO, as a continuum, à la Canon.
16. Up the resolution on the rear screen.
17. Tilt screen.

I think the Hybrid finder is a nice idea that doesn't work in practice. I actually kinda like it in optical mode, except I have to rely on AF and that's a deal breaker. As an EVF, I consider it unusable. The problem is that Fuji has to compromise on the optics to get both the optical and EVF finders in there and it ends up having far too little magnification. If Fuji did the same finder with an 0.72x or 0.85x magnification, a la an M, or had it switch to a high magnification mode when switching to the EVF (the X100 is around 0.5x, my NEX-7 is 1.09x) I'd be a lot more interested.
