Partially switched to Sony A7RII so I don't use D610 very often. And back in Oct, I didn't took a Nikon body to an overseas trip, that was the first time I didn't traveled with an Nikon body.
But I did took the D610 along during a recent trip for dedicated for timelapse.
D610 + 24-85 VR kit lens, stacked with numerous exposure
And here is the link to the timelapse (created with Panolapse), my very first timelapse attempt. https://goo.gl/photos/N5E7gXUYzbEqGJeH6
The original file is in 4K. I used the D610's Intervalmeter instead of timelapse mode since Nikon timelapse only give 1080p video file and I can't get the images files (raw or jpg).
PS. I've found Sony with additional camera app is much easier for timelapse since it can save both video and/or raw images, plus exposure is more consistent so I can spend much less effort to reduce flickering (big advantage over Nikon intervalmeter mode).
I recently found out I'd be missing out on speedlight AF beam assistance because it will not be activated in all focus or shooting modes. This was shot in AF-S (single) mode with an SB900 on top in AF-Only. This was in near-complete darkness, shot hand held. The majority of the light is coming from the clock on the stove. There are some various LEDs and stuff in the background from chargers and a little warmer light trickling in a nearby window from some street lights. A small amount of NR applied in LR.
