Further to my report of half red, half green images from the new camera:
I took my DP2M into the local Sigma distributor and they were able to replicate the green/red error on the camera and replaced it on the spot.
I remember you were not happy with Asian's skin tones from your camera's output... Have you tries new copy in capturing Asian skins tones.... Really interested in that (as Asian/Indian, dont want to put money in DP2M/DP3M if its consistent, in case want too jump M bandwagon )

Rattymouse: have you dialed down sharpness settings recently?
Anyway, I think your recent shots look better. You have posted some nice ones, thanks for sharing. Last shot is a stitch or crop?

asbalyan, sorry to say that this is still an issue. Not with every photo and it does occur with both the DP2M and the 3M as well. Fantastic cameras for landscape, not so sure about how it works as a people photo for Indians. Pity that, these are such nice cameras.
Well, I might as well stick with the RX1 for family photos and the 5D2 and good primes for portrait shots. I can't see any female in my family being in the slightest happy with what these sensors do to their skin

No I have not. I never touch the sharpness slider, always at default.
Yes, that is a stitched shot. I forget how many....6 or 8.

We have had two days of snow and have nearly 20cm on the ground. Very depressing for this time of year. My wife, however, brought some beautiful tulips home, so it feels a bit more like spring.

LR support for Sigma Merrils
Today Adobe staff posted in the Adobe forum that they are working on support the DP2x sensors.
"The Merrill models use a special sensor technology called Foveon which requires very different image processing logic compared to the so-called Bayer sensors used by almost all of the other cameras. We actually are working on support for these Foveon sensors (includes all the Merrill models) but it will take some time.2

What I admire about your work is your ability to create a large DR with good detail in the highs and low and nice black. I have tried to mimic your pp without achieving your level of success. Hopfully at some point I will discover your secret.
