Most of the shots special the high ISO ones look very extreme noise reduced to me in 100%. The others show contrast lines and artifacts, too. I would like to see some Raw samples now.
Took a second look and I see what you mean. I was going to ask the guy on dpreview about NR but I don't remember my password

A SD of 28 if in my opinion very good, better than all the prior cameras with the exception of the 5dIII and 1Dx (SD of 17) and 1D IV (SD of 22).
The 5D II has an SD of 38.5!
I think the 6D is not comparable to the 5dII, but to other modern AF systems like the t4i. It is not comparable to the 5dIII, but good enough for me.
Basically, if I'm correct : the lower the standard deviation with phase AF, the more precise the AF is. The 1DX and 5DIII have a phase AF that's almost as precise as liveview AF, for example, according to Roger Cicala.
According to him, the 6D is as good as the 5DII.

Yes, I read this too and I asked Roger. Because according to the numbers of the presented graph it looks much nearer to 5D III than to 5DII for me (only center AF point was tested).
Keeping in mind that 5D3 is ONLY hitting that accuracy with a handful of certain new lenses - such as 28/2.8 IS - not with every older lens in production (according to Rogers previous articles, unless I am misunderestimating what he 'splained in them).
With 'older' lenses (100L macro and later, 2009?) I believe SD of 5D3 was similar to 5D2's numbers (at center point).
Cross fingers the 6D's AF is as good or better than the 5D2...center point recompose is fine by me
- it's got MFA and you can adjust AF gain
- has interchangeable focusing screens
- it's lighter and has WiFi n GPS
My bank is ready to rock, just want to see RAW images...
LR4 has been ordered and my lappy is being upgraded to WIN7
Just waiting for the REAL reviews...the 5D3 is only about $1K higher if necessary...more L glass would be nice tho
