A bit more testing of the 50D's extra mps, about 50% crops. Taken early afternoon, rather harsh direct sun, for the 1st shot used the 17-40L, the 2nd and 3rd 70-200 f4L IS... Not to bad for a cropper, but think I'm gonna like moving up to FF

Fine pictures, one and all. Jerry's (SF) well captured flora shots are reminescent of our summers, however, what can a resident of SoCal do about it ?
Here's a couple of town shots in a miserable light of today. (Looks like park benches are in demand, eh Jerry from Tenn. ? )
1DX + 300 f/2.8 IS MkI.
Alas Peter winter is here, the winds are up and ravages of 34yrs of being paralyzed; mainly poor circulation, take their seasonal toll, even with it in the 60s my outside shooting will be little until next spring. Unless we get a break in the cold my next posts will be studio/macro images and perhaps a few scanned images from my film days
Keep those beautiful images coming, lovely posts everyone!

Jerry, I understand.....heat is good for reduced circulation.
I think having two Jerrys on the team could lead to confusion here and there. I am not sure what would be the best differentiator, but when I saw Jerry adding "SF" to his signature in the above post, the first two things that jumped to my decrepit mind were "soft focus" and "science fiction". As we have seen on numerous examples, Jerry's shots are anything but "soft focus".
