At this time wearable (*) always-have-a-camera-but-not-a-tripod choices are for me: iPhone 12 Pro Max for ultra low light (computing additive brain) and for good light the widest range 13mm-85mm (digital computing) zoom. Otherwise, an RX100 V for low(er) light and a RX100 VII for brighter light.
Were someone to set out to design a compact camera/sensor for web display such as on this forum you hardly could have done any better than the RX100 MKx.
However, for 8X10” prints at very high ISOs as well as A4 size prints/displays at lower ISOs the 1” sensor’s limits are often in evidence. So I’m looking forward towards the time when advanced smartphone software is combined with a 1” sensor camera such as the RX100.
