Great images here! I gave the RX100 to my wife and don't know much about it now, but before that we visted the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. First time ARW, PP in NIK. I'm sorry but I am sure I can't really demonstrate the real quality of the camera. There are better photographers than me for that. But still some impressions:

The story of the 911GT1 is special: 1997 they needed at least 20 road versions of this 508 HP 310kmh racer to be licences for competition. So they built only 20. Unit price 1 500 000 German Mark. Here front and back for free
I think the camera does very well with bright conditions. I love it even more now that I can put a polarizing filter on it. I bought an EBay solution which allows 43mm filters and it works perfectly.
Nice Vern, I like those high altitude landscapes! The RX100 really shines when travelling light on difficult trails. If I remember well, you did also use the Oly OMD, do you still use it?

Thanks! No - I had too many systems, . I have the RX100, NEX-7 and E-X1 right now. I'm probably going to keep the RX100 and E-X1 for now.
I should get my RX100 tomorrow which has the carry speed cpl filter attachment but figured I have a bunch of 49mm filters already including a few ND filters do I bought a similar kit from lensmate today that allows for 49mm or 52mm filters to be added to the RX100. Hopefully the camera us all I expect if to be as if so, it will be with me for every trip.
Just unscrew the carryspeed CPL (which doesn't use a very high quality filter in the first place) and glue in a 46-49mm step up ring, which fits perfectly and you've got yourself a 49mm filter ring with the ultra fast on/off ability the magnet gives you.
Hands down a better way to go than Lensmate.
Lensmate solution cost more, isn't as fast on/off, and it also requires their adapter which sticks out 3mm making the camera less pocketable not to mention ugly looking.
The little carryspeed ring is about 0.5mm thick if that and you can hardly notice it.
Much better product IMHO (after you spend about 2 minutes doing a little bit of a hack)
I just got my carryspeed cpl the other day, just need a step up ring and I will be on my way, I can see that its really really thin and hardly changes the profile of the camera at all.
