Hi Bill, I have not taken it out in the bright light as of yet but I can tell you it is now my de facto pocket camera. It (like all P&S) has some menu quirks with regard to speed of access but I love it.....waiting on the Franiec grip to come and I'm gonna take it for a walk downtown. If I can manage to leave the D800 at home...
Here is one I tried at the100mm equiv. end of the lens. This guy moved so fast I had about 5 tries before catching him before he shot back down that tunnel.
Scotbot,
These are all excellent! I can only hope when my Sony RX100 arrives I can produce images this good! In addition to the technical aspects of these I also like your composition! Thanks for posting!

Thanks! I processed these using Nik Software's SnapSeed on an iPad 3. It's really excellent for B&W conversions because it has some great algorithms for drama etc. I can't believe it only cost £2.99, I would have paid 10x that without hesitation.

Great shots everyone! I am amazed with IQ with RX100, and decided to buy one yesterday while here on business in Tainan, as a companion to the M9. I am loving the ergonomics and how just much fun the camera is to use
