I really want to tell you that this is one of the hardest to get.
I once needed one and ended up with a brand new one. Buy one when Canon Direct Store Accesories are 20% off.
The problem is there's even no knock offs.

In the end you can still use a body cap...well...

How do you use a regular body cap? Attach with rubber bands?
Just "fake" that it could get on.
I once saw someone selling an extender on ebay (or here, can't remember) saying "just that the cap doesn't lock so well" -- obviously he's using the body cap... lol
