Anyone local want to pick it up tomorrow? Here's a photo with today's San Jose Mercury News data 7/15/2012 and my name on a card just in case you have reservations. Click on the image to enlarge it so you can see the date.
Yes, I will ship out of the country but there are no returns if I ship outside the USA and it must be wired transfer only. So the sale will be "as is" if I ship outside the USA. I'll quote you shipping fees to NZ or you can send me your FedEx account # and I'll bill that.
I actually had two 500's for sale. They both sold within a few days of listing. The 500mm f/4L IS version 1 sold for $6475 and the 500mm f/4L IS version 2 sold for $10,200. Both were in mint condition. If you can find either at that price in mint condition buy them. I researched the price carefully before selling and those are very favorable prices for the buyer.
I re-posted the 600mm f/4L for sale on a new thread because this thread was getting too cluttered and confusing. It's now posted for $6,888.00 for local pickup: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1135769/
