Beautiful macro images, the 2nd shot, filtered light is wonderful
That Sigma looks like a nice bit of glass, does the extra reach vs. a 100 help much?

Hi Jerry,
Thanks for the kind words, I was intentionally courting flare with that one shot. I previously owned the Sigma 105 and liked it too. And while I'm typically not chasing bugs the extra working distance with the 150mm does come in handy if they cross my path.

Hi Cam,

You nailed the flare, it looks great! I shoot mostly flora and tend toward more abstractish images, light, blur/motion, really shallow DOF for that dreamy look!

Back in film days an nFD 200 mac was my fav, just recently picked up EdMik's .5mm adapter and am starting to experiment with it on digital bodies; my through the year project

It was one of those shots I looked at the scene and it said nothing special here but i kept looking at it as it was tugging at me then I it came alive and then I saw the shot I wanted.

that 2nd flower shot of yours is spectacular I like how the mood is set with the light.
