Very well done, Psych....the focus, overal poise, wing attitude and perspective are all great,,,, and that is with 400 f/5.6 + 1.4xTC ? Quite commendable.
If we were on a review and critique forum, I'd make a few minor suggestions re framing and colours, but in this thread we have traditionally tried to stay away from that, and that I think has worked reasonably well.
Here's a hummer captured from my front yard this morning. One or two families of these creatures lurking around offer ample photo opportunities - but nailing presentably decent images is somewhat challenging nevertheless.

Doctorbird: ExLax for the Mind trips are needed as much as bucket-list trips these days...make the time now...
I took a short trip over to a couple of Audubon sites just outside of Boston yesterday, using the combination of 100L IS, 70-200L MkII, and 400 f5.6 with the 5DMkII. Need to go through more, but these are favorites so far.

The weather yesterday here in Anchorage was more reminiscent of a summer day than it usually is. Decided to drive over to a small pond that is close to home to give BIF a try. As far as capturing birds in flight, well, I wasn't very successful with that. The birds just wouldn't hold still when they flew by. Luckily for me, a stationary bird nearby looked interesting so I took a quick shot. Turned out to be one of the clearest shots taken. Oh well.
