I tried to avoid people when starting out with digital photography. I've since changed my view on that, and there's a few threads of mine on FM with people, street candids, environmental portraiture and Sheikh Zayed Mosque which will fill the void for you!

Thanks Haunted Hat - I was trying out the Brenizer technique, and though the lights on Jumeirah Beach Residence and Dubai Marina would make an interesting backdrop. The resulting DoF and Field of View is equivalent to 24mm at f0.45, but this was a pano shot at f1.4 with an 85mm on full frame
