Awesome shots! Reminds me of my trip of S. Africa last year *sigh* What did you use to get that close? WB looks a little off on the last picture, but it could be me. Looks like rain in the background. Maybe the clouds are what threw it off. Either way good stuff!
Beautiful photos of a majestic aniaml, nice work Walter!
My favourite is the last photo, the rain really enhances the character of this photo. However, if you bump the color temp up a little bit, it would look more natural.
Double thumbs up!! :P
I like the last picture alot! Both white balances (the original and the corrected, warmer one) look good to me and convey different responses. The original one is more gloomy-looking, and looks like a sudden tropical downpour coming in... The corrected picture looks like a warm spring/summer shower. Both works
Holy Moly, and WOW! Having just purchased this lens, and previously owning ONLY Canon lenses, I have to say, I'm impressed! Looks like I have to work more with this lens and get over my prejudices toward Sigma lenses. These are marvelous pix! Thanks for showing me what can be done with this Sigma lens when shooting wildlife! SUPER! And a wonderful encouragement to those of us who can't afford those pricey long Canon lenses!
Very intimate and beautiful. I like the first one best I think. Cats of any size are wonderful, their grace... They look like they never have a stiff neck.
